If you are in the market for a stylin' new lid, try a hand painted Be the Wave Cap from Kelleee Ponzi.
Kelleee got her start in 2015 on a trip to Hawaii where she had brought some hand painted Be the Wave sweatshirts to sell, but on the plane ride over a fellow surfer rained on her sweatshirt parade saying people in Hawaii don't wear them because the weather is so pleasant. In her defense, people in PDX and Oregon wear sweatshirts all the time, but on her return Kellee started painting Be the Wave caps and she's been at it ever since. Her initial sales were to surf shops on the Oregon coast and NW Women's Surf Camps, but the caps have continued to grow in popularity and now we're helping her showcase her skillz to a broader audience.
Caps are six (6) panel snapbacks with the four (4) black mesh back and side panels and the front two (2) panels are Kelleee's canvas. Every cap is unique as hand painted, see the artist at work, and are adjustable so fit almost every size head so don't be afraid to buy more than one.
If an item(s) returned within the forty five (45) day period shows meaningful wear and tear, we will contact you to come up with an equitable solution.
