Looking for a hipster, special and unique backpack, try a Hemp Backpack from from Ashnik Creations in Nepal.  Hemp is a natural bast fiber which means it comes from the stem of a plant.  In terms of sustainability, hemp is often considered a preferred fiber with a less harmful environmental impact.

Each backpack has three (3) zipper pockets and two (2) side pockets.  The primary pocket is 15" H x 12" W x 6" D and has a laptop separator (no screens larger than 15.6").  The biggest outside pocket is 11" H x 9" w x 3" D and the third varies in size depending upon which backpack you select.

All Ashnik Creations' hemp products are produced using organic methods.  The process begins with planting hemp seeds in the far west region of Nepal, specifically in Bajhang district.  The plants are then transported to Itahari where they have a large threading factory to process the plants into thread.  After the thread is produced, it is transported to Kathmandu where they prepare the cloth.  Ashnik takes great care to ensure that the entire process is environmentally friendly so they use natural dyes, specifically azo-free dyes, for coloring the cloth which not only enhances the overall quality of their products, but also ensures that they are safe for both consumers and the environment.
