The Incredible Casuals are one of the greatest unknown, outside of the northeast, beach bands to ever play. For anyone who's been to the Cape (Cape Cod) and pulled weekend time at the Beachcomber in Wellfleet (Google it) in the 80s, 90s and 00s, the Casuals were a mainstay on Sundays and always provided a tremendously entertaining show.
The Casuals have been described as "The Beach Boys meets the Who". Your Sounds is their 1991 release, this is the Japanese reissue, and shows the Casuals really hitting their stride as evidenced by this quote from David Fricke of Rolling Stone, "The Casuals make a raucous, guitar-driven sound not unlike NRBQ but with a hint of Replacements-style corrosion.". Key tracks include She's Got Tony, Distracted, Step It Up and I Wanna Play Loud among others.
